An Incident.

I've been thinking about Christianity quite abit lately. Today i popped Zhaos this puzzle.
Adam and Eve sinned because God gave them freewill. Freewill is sort of like an important part of Christianity. So i was thinking, if God is ALL-POWERFUL (omniscient), then he would be able to predict the future(Revelations). If God can predict the future, then everything is predestined. If everything is predestined, then what freewill? Calvinism says NO FREEWILL. Before you were created God already choose for u to go Heaven or Hell.

Today something cool happened to me. Jerlyn had the honour of hearing the incident first because she somehow appeared at the right time. lol. She was really encouraging with her "at least you tried" Thanks Jerlyn.
Anyway the story went like this...
I was on the top deck of a double decker bus. A small boy went to the top deck. He found a handphone on the seat. He asked the person A behind him "eh did u lose your phone?". Btw, A was with B and C as well. They are like some gangsta sec3 boys. So A was stunned cos he dno wad to do. Then B and C stunned with them. Then the malay boy waited. Then A said "yeah its mine. Oh dear i am so forgetful" *obviously A din say that but yeah i changed everything to kern language for entertainment purposes* Then B joined in "wah next time dun anyhow leave your phone around leh"
Wah then i see lidat i know they fake one. Damn obvious. First they did something wrong by lying to the small boy. Then they did something wrong by koping the phone. I had an urge to stop them. But i din. Course i was alighting the upcoming stop. While i was walking down the aisle, I was thinking something like "God, if those dudes there alight same stop as me then give me the courage and ill CONFRONT them!"
Wah then sian sian they really right behind me. I had NO CHOICE but to let my inner MORAL COURAGE take over. So i confronted them. Yeah fine i was a little scared cos i wasnt sure of what i was doing, i hate talking to strangers who dun look friendly and they quite scary. C got piercing in his mouth. >< size="4">all the money in my wallet in exchange for the phone. Yeah ill looked at my wallet had about 20bucks. They were very hesitant about handing over the phone but i insisted. *actually i was quite sian cos we were stoning there for like 3 whole minutes in the middle of the pathwalkway" Until A said "Okay we give u, but what are u going to do with that phone?" Then i replied "Wait for the person to call so i can return it" Then A said "But we threw the sim card away when we were on the bus" Then i quite sian so i said "Ok Bye" then i walked away.

SORRY ANTI CLIMAX!

But i learnt a few lessons. Ok maybe not lessons but stuff.
1. If God is gonna respond like that to me all the time, i think i am going to believe that hes real. (GOD)
2. I was dumb to give up i should have insisted go police post or something.
3. Its dumb to let someone with lesser morality that you to decide the fate of a misplaced item. (actually not applicable cos the malay boy cos he was too innocent and kind and nice) (BUT LAST TIME STUPID KEEFE FOUND A 50 BUCKS WALLET AND HANDPHONE IN THE TOILET INSTEAD OF KEEPING IT FOR HIMSELF OR WAITING FOR THE PERSON TO RETURN OR HANDING TO POLICE POST, HE GAVE TO SOME KBOX PERSON.) I wonder where it is now. ): (Keefe)
4. When u stand up for something that you believe in, although you are not in harmony with the enviroment, you are in harmony with your inner self. (Sir Fong) Cos though i got into sorta conflict with the dudes, i felt great inside.
5. I hope those dudes will like spiritual awakening abit or something or if the person called then they will return or something after my confrontation. (Gandhi)
6. Honestly i dun believe that they threw the sim card away but i was running out of patience.
7. I'll be very sad if I were to lose my handphone.
8. Engs is currently undergoing a BECOME MORE LIKE VALERIE course but trying to act like Val and I think? thats what Val would do. (Valerie)

If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of humanity? (Job 7:20)

Eliphaz believes that Job’s agony must be due to some sin Job has committed, and he urges Job to seek God’s favor.Bildad and Zophar agree that Job must have committed evil to offend God’s justice and argue that he should strive to exhibit more blameless behavior. Bildad surmises that Job’s children brought their deaths upon themselves. Even worse, Zophar implies that whatever wrong Job has done probably deserves greater punishment than what he has received.

The young Elihu believes that Job has spent too much energy vindicating himself rather than God. Elihu explains to Job that God communicates with humans by two ways—visions and physical pain. He says that physical suffering provides the sufferer with an opportunity to realize God’s love and forgiveness when he is well again, understanding that God has “ransomed” him from an impending death (33:24). Elihu also assumes that Job must be wicked to be suffering as he is, and he thinks that Job’s excessive talking is an act of rebellion against God.

Firstly, Job's suffering was only a game between God and Satan, a test of Job's faith.
Secondly, God is all powerful that we should not discuss God's divine justice since humans are limited and God's actions are beyond us.

Eh i think Job showed how God is all-powerful but maybe not all-good? Take the classic example of 911, so many people died because 1."Maybe God and Satan were having another wager?" or 2."hmmm we are just too limited to understand God"
But we know its definitely not cos the people are sinners...afterall, there are more Christians in America than any other countries(if i am not wrong) so i think it should be because of that...

And what about babies who are born into the world with disabilities and handicap? Or worse, some live for a few mintues and then die. Some even die inside the mother's womb. So what is their purpose in life? Where do they go after that?
I guess the answer is that humans are limited and we cannot understand God's actions.

Gee yeah. Sorry for the scattering of ideas here and there. >< bubye. (:
